We believe we have the most incredible lineup of vendors participating at the 2013 Expo. In fact, we’re so proud of them, we want everyone to know more about who they are and how their business fits in to the Expo’s passion for seeing Ottawa the healthiest city in Canada. We recently sent our vendors a list of four questions. Between now and the Expo, we will be highlighting some of these amazing vendors. Watch our blog every Tuesday & Saturday morning for another vendor spotlight.
Who are you?
Carefor Health & Community Services, a registered charity and not-for-profit organization, keeps families together longer at home by providing home health care and community support services
How long have you been in business?
115 years! Carefor’s roots extend back in the late 19th century as the founding branch of what became the first national community nursing and home health care organization in Canada.
What is your business all about?
From nursing to personal care, assisted living options and respite services to support caregivers and families with loved ones living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias, Carefor services continue to meet the needs of the local communities we serve. In Ottawa, Pembroke-Renfrew County & Eastern Counties, our services are available in the comfort of our clients’ home, in a retirement facility, or in a community setting.
The Expo focuses on four themes: be fit, eat right, think well, go green. Which of these does your business incorporate?
