We believe we have the most incredible lineup of vendors participating at the 2013 Expo. In fact, we’re so proud of them, we want everyone to know more about who they are and how their business fits in to the Expo’s passion for seeing Ottawa the healthiest city in Canada. We recently sent our vendors a list of four questions. Between now and the Expo, we will be highlighting some of these amazing vendors. Watch our blog every Tuesday & Saturday morning for another vendor spotlight.
Who are you?
We are a firm of 5 lawyers, committed to serving our local communities. All of us entered the legal profession because of our desire to help people as they come across legal issues in their personal, family and business lives. Outside of work, our lawyers engage in sports, music, outdoor recreational activities, travel, and community.
How long have you been in business?
We have been deeply rooted in our community for decades. Our combined years of experience adds up to almost 100 years!
What is your business all about?
We pride ourselves in having two very experienced and well-known “grey-haired” lawyers in our firm, balanced with three more youthful lawyers. This balance provides our community with the ability to handle even the most complex legal issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The Expo focuses on four themes: be fit, eat right, think well, go green. Which of these does your business incorporate?
Our firm has adopted a “green” approach to our operations for as long as we can remember. For example, we recycle paper and cans, take compostable waste home to add to our compost heap at home, and make sure all of the lights are turned off when the last person leaves in the evening. All of our lawyers are involved in sports, recreation with friends and family, the arts, and community activities. We firmly believe that if everyone does “their part” in their own way, the City of Ottawa, and the world, will truly be a better place to live and work.
